About CozyPixels

CozyPixels was born out of a simple desire: to make digital spaces feel like home.

Our Story

Heavily inspired by the serene aesthetic of Nikhil, CozyPixels began as a personal curation project. We realized that the wallpapers we look at every day—whether on our phones, browsers, or dual-monitor PC setups—profoundly impact our mood and productivity.

Instead of endless scrolling through generic wallpaper sites, we wanted to build a definitive collection of high-resolution, minimalist, and "cozy" wallpapers. Specifically, we focus on beautifully crafted color palettes like Catppuccin, Nord, and One Dark.

More Than Just Wallpapers

What started as a simple gallery has evolved into a complete ecosystem. Today, CozyPixels offers a blazing-fast web experience, a native Windows Desktop Application for seamless local wallpaper management, and a Chrome Extension designed to boost productivity with integrated Pomodoro timers and lo-fi soundscapes.

The Creator

CozyPixels is built and maintained by Nikhil Yadav (@yadavnikhil03). It is an open-source labor of love dedicated to the developer and design community.
